Entrust, Inc., a provider of identity and access management solutions, announced that outdoor appliance maker The Toro Company will implement its Entrust Secure Identity Management Solution to extend secure Web access to key information for its dealers and suppliers.

The implementation of the Entrust GetAccess(TM) server, part of the Entrust Secure Identity Management Solution, is an element of Toro's strategy to extend secure online access for its dealers and suppliers. According to Entrust, Toro was able to capitalize on Entrust's unlimited user, CPU-based pricing model to make deployment of its Web-based applications more cost effective.

"Toro is a company that has focused on the success and satisfaction of its customers for more than 90 years," said Kevin Simzer, senior vice-president of Marketing and Products at Entrust. "We are pleased to have been selected to provide secure identity management products to help them continue this tradition as they extend relationships on-line by providing their key stakeholders secure and convenient access to sensitive information."
