Samsung May Stop Producing Microwave Ovens in China Jun 7, 2004 |

Samsung Electronics Co., a leading South Korean home appliance maker, is considering a halt in production of microwave ovens in China, a Samsung official said.
"As many local producers of microwave ovens have enlarged their market share to the price disadvantage of our products, we are reviewing production stoppage over there following a decrease in production in Chinese plants," the official said. (Yonhap)
