The Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts' 40th Annual Pasadena Showcase House of Design (Showcase) attracted more than 50,000 visitors during its April 18 to May 16 run. This year's Showcase featured the talent of more than 50 designers, including Pasadena, CA, U.S.-based David Reaume of David Reaume Construction & Design, who specializes in high-end custom homes and remodels.
As part of Showcase, Mr. Reaume designed a state-of-the-art kitchen comprising a full-line of appliances donated by Thermador, part of BSH Home Appliances Corporation, a division of Bosch and Siemens Hausgeraete GmbH.
Mr. Reaume incorporated Thermador's Professional(R) Series line of stainless-steel kitchen appliances, including side-by-side refrigeration from the brand's new line of built-in refrigerators, 48-in range, wall oven, warming drawer, and two four-program dishwashers.
"My goal in transforming the kitchen was to modernize the space with sophisticated stainless steel appliances, but to maintain its Georgian appeal," said Mr. Reaume. "I chose Thermador's stainless steel Professional Series because the line offers bold designs that provide equally strong cooking performance. The kitchen is the pulse of the home and I wanted to ensure that this project created a kitchen that embodies the ultimate expression of style and culinary appreciation."
