Rocci Cetani Retires from Thermador

Rocci Cetani, vice president of Sales for Huntington Beach, CA, U.S.-based appliance maker Thermador, will retire after 20 years of dedicated efforts and devotion to the company.

Mr. Cetani began working as a District Sales Manager for Thermador in 1982. before BSH acquired Thermador in 1998. Before joining Thermador, Rocci spent 18 years in retail, selling Thermador and other brands.

"Rocci has been instrumental in contributing to the success of our business and we wish him the best in his retirement," Franz J. Bosshard, president and CEO of BSH Home Appliances Corporation, which manufacturers and markets Thermador, Bosch, Gaggenau, and Siemens branded home appliances in North America, said in a press release announcing Mr. Cetani's retirement.

When asked how he felt his retirement would affect distributor sales Mr. Cetani stated in the same release, "There's renewed interest and excitement in promoting these products. We regained credibility for the brands and the distributors are very positive, more so than I have seen in a long time."

Scot Brown, current Product Manager for Refrigeration, will be promoted to the position of Director, Thermador Sales to replace Mr. Cetani. "Scott brings a strong appliance background and knowledge of the industry to Thermador. With many years in sales, marketing, and management, Mr. Brown will be a valuable asset to the sales team," Mr. Bosshard noted.

Mr. Cetani plans to travel and spend time with his family during retirement. He resides resides in Huntington Beach with his wife, Patricia, of 46 years. He is the father of four children and 12 grandchildren. His hobbies include computers and golf.
