Report Says Haier Moves Past GE Apr 30, 2004 |

Haier has surpassed GE to become the world's fourth-largest appliance maker, according to a Forbes report.
The report also said that Haier claims 50 percent of the U.S. market for wine chillers and a 50-percent of the compact refrigerator market.
