U-Line Corporation (Milwaukee, WI, U.S.) has introduced its new Echelon Series Combo system, which according to the company is the first-ever combination refrigerator/ice maker/freezer drawer.
"Drawers are impacting kitchen design today and we expect this trend to continue into the future," explains Phil Uihlein, president and CEO of U-Line Corporation, in a written statement. "Today’s homeowners are very design-conscious. While they want the conveniences of standard appliances, they demand something different; something that makes a statement."
The two-drawer CO2075DWR is said to be the first and only refrigerated drawer appliance to also provide an ice maker and freezer space.
The top drawer of the CO2075DWR is dedicated to refrigeration space. The drawer comes with exclusive features that provide abundant storage possibilities. U-Line’s exclusive organizational divider provides the storage framework. The Slide & Divide tool is adjustable to the configuration of the drawer’s contents and is removeable.
In addition to the organizational grid, the appliance also has a top-mounting, clear storage bin.
The top drawer features a stainless steel interior and houses a digital diagnostic controller that provides a temperature reading for each drawer. Additionally, a newly designed Sabbath mode shuts down the electronic device for religious observances.
The ice making and freezer sections are located in the lower drawer. The ice maker has a daily ice production rate of up to 6 lbs, and there is also a 10-lb capacity clear storage bin.
