IHRA Elects Senior Officers, Directors

The International Housewares Representatives Association (IHRA), during its annual board of directors meeting at the Home & Housewares Show in Chicago, IL, U.S., elected its officers for the years 2004-2005.

Jim Adams of Jack L. Wallace Co., Dallas, TX, U.S. was appointed chairman of the board. Jim Ayotte of Michael James & Associates, San Leandro, CA, U.S. was elected president, and David Silberstein, Silberstein Associates, Inc., Rockville, MD, U.S. was named president elect.

Other newly-elected officers on the executive committee include David Friedman of The Northeast Group, Westwood, MA, U.S. who was named senior vice president, Industry & Membership; Kent Kulovitz of Kulovitz & Associates, Dallas, TX, U.S. was named senior vice president, Legal & Education; and Mark Glotter of Markshare Sales, Inc., Minneapolis, MN, U.S. was name senior vice president, Fiscal.

Directors of IHRA include Jeanmarie Bettencourt, Bettencourt, Seattle, WA, U.S.; Burt Karlin, Karlin-Richton Company, Framingham, MA, U.S.; Mark Levy, Dworkin-Rill, Co., Inc; Richard Spitaletta, Enterprise/Skyliner Sales & Marketing, Hackensack, NJ, U.S.

IHRA is a trade association for manufacturers' representatives in the home, housewares, and hardware industries.
