Electro-Federation Canada Appoints Board of Directors Executive Team

Bob Brews, president of R.L. Brews Ltd. was elected Chair of Electro-Federation Canada (EFC) at the association's Annual General Meeting, held April 1, 2004 at the Pearson Convention Center in Brampton, ON, Canada. Mr. Brews succeeds Paul Frew, vice president, Government Relations, Motorola Canada Ltd., who will continue to serve on the board as past chair.
"I'm delighted to accept this Chairmanship after such an outstanding year of growth," says Mr. Brews. "Together with the Board of Directors and EFC Staff, we will continue to provide valuable and innovative programs to members. I plan to build on the gains made by my predecessor, keeping Electro-Federation Canada on its course of growth while improving our communications with government and the many members of our industry across Canada."
Joining Mr. Brews as members of the executive team of the EFC Board of Directors are:
Milos Jancik, president of Moeller Electric Inc., as vice president; Grant Buchanan, president of S&C Electric Canada Ltd., as treasurer; and Carol McGlogan, vice president of Marketing & Distribution Channels at Canlyte Inc., as secretary.
EFC is a national, not-for-profit industry association representing more than 250 member companies in the electrical, electronics, and telecommunications industries in Canada. EFC oversees several sector-specific industry organizations, including the Canadian Appliance Manufacturers Association (CAMA), which represents Canadian manufacturers and marketers of major, portable, and floor care household appliances.
