T-Fal Names New Head of Marketing

Scott Meyer, president and CEO of small appliance maker T-Fal Corporation, announced the appointment of Veronica Lewis to the position of vice president, Marketing, and as a member of the T-FAL Corporation Operating Committee, effective March 19, 2004. Ms. Lewis will oversee product management, merchandising, consumer services, and marketing services for T-FAL Corporation.

Ms. Lewis comes to T-Fal from Neutrogena Corporation, where she was vice president of Marketing, in charge of the company’s U.S. $600-million North American toiletries business. Prior to Neutrogena, she spent 20 years at The Gillette Company, both in North America and in Europe. In her last assignment at Gillette, Ms. Lewis served as vice president, Global Business Management for the $600-million female shaving business, where she directed the worldwide launch of the Venus female razor.

"This addition to our team is a key next step in our commitment to add growth to the cookware and small domestic appliances categories," said Mr. Meyer.

Ms. Lewis holds a Masters in International Economics from Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies in Washington, DC, U.S. and an M.B.A. degree from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University, Evanston, IL, U.S. She earned her undergraduate degree from Tufts University in Medford, MA, U.S. with a major in political science.
