Switzerland-based Logitech received the Consumer Electronic Association's (CEA’s) Best of Innovations 2004 award in the computer hardware category for the Logitech(R) diNovoTM Media Desktop(TM).

The diNovo Media Des, which is based on Bluetooth(R) wireless technology, was showcased at the 2004 International Consumer Electronics Show held Jan. 8-11.

The device has a slim, low-profile minimalist layout with a detached number pad that can serve as a standard calculating device as well as a remote media control. With a wireless range of 30 ft, the mouse, keyboard, and MediaPad are connected to the PC via a Bluetooth hub, incorporated into the docking station for the mouse. The Bluetooth hub also serves as a wireless bridge between the computer and Bluetooth devices such as mobile phones, PDAs, printers and headsets.
