GAMA Recognizes Hydronics Expert for Industry Contributions

GAMA’s Hydronics Institute (HI) Division announced that is has presented well-known hydronics heating consultant, author, and industry educator, Dan Holohan with an award for his contributions to the hydronics heating industry. GAMA is the national trade association representing manufacturers of appliances, components, and related products used in space conditioning, water heating, commercial foodservice, and power generation.

Mr. Holohan, proprietor of Dan Holohan Associates, Inc., of Bethpage, NY, U.S., is the author of more than a dozen books on the technical, marketing, and other aspects of hydronic heating. His articles and columns have appeared in Plumbing & Mechanical, PM Engineer, Contractor and Supply House Times magazines. He also operates the web site, www.HeatingHelp.com, which provides advice to trade professionals and the general public. A recognized hydronic heating expert, Mr. Holohan is a frequent lecturer at industry seminars and meetings.

A plaque was awarded to Mr. Holohan at GAMA's annual meeting in Absecon, NJ, U.S. last October, recognizing his "untiring efforts supporting hydronic heating" and thanking him for promoting the benefits of hot water heating through his educational seminars and informative writing.
