Canadian Government May Extend Rebate on Energy-Efficient Appliances Dec 1, 2003 |

The Ontario Government has introduced legislation to extend the Retail Sales Tax (RST) rebate available on purchases of new energy-efficient electrical household appliances to March 31, 2004.
The extension would become effective if the legislation is passed by the Legislature.
