Groupe SEB N.A. Names New President

Alain Gautier, currently president of the Groupe SEB North America’s worldwide Beverage Strategic Business Unit, has been named president/CEO of Groupe SEB North America. He succeeds Gregers Infeld.

During a 20-year career with Groupe SEB, Mr. Gautier has held a variety of international marketing and general management positions. In his most recent assignment, he was responsible for the Groupe’s filter and espresso coffeemaker and electric kettle businesses. In his new post, Mr. Gautier will be responsible for Groupe SEB’s North American operations, which include housewares brands T-FAL, Krups, and Rowenta. Mr. Gautier will be based at Groupe SEB headquarters in Ecully, France.

Mr. Infeld held the president/CEO positions of both Groupe SEB N.A. and of T-FAL Corporation from June 1998 until June 2003. In June, Scott K. Meyer was named president/ CEO of T-FAL Corporation.
