York CEO to Retire in February 2004 Oct 22, 2003 |

HVAC appliance maker York International Corp. said its chief executive, Michael R. Young, will retire Feb. 9, 2004 after serving in the post for about 4 years.
Mr. Young also intends to retire from York's board at that time, the company said in a press release.
C. David Myers, currently president of York International, will succeed Mr. Young, assuming the additional role of chief executive Feb. 9.
