IBM to sell PCs with Motion Sensor

IBM Japan Ltd said it will introduce portable personal computers (PCs) with motion sensors that can detect when the machines are falling and react to protect hard disks.

The sensor is built into notebook-sized PCs of the ThinkPad R50 and ThinkPad T41 series that will be put on the market next Wednesday. (Kyodo News)
