ARI Names Director of Education

Raymond J. Mach has been named director of Education at the Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI), which annually conducts thousands of Industry Competency Exams (ICE) and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
certification tests.

Mr. Mach is responsible for liaison with approximately 1,400 high school and post-
secondary training programs that teach heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR). Representatives from the schools annually attend ARI’s Instructor Workshop in Arlington, VA, U.S., which in 2004 will be March 10-13.
