Sunbeam Products, Inc. is reportedly shutting its largest U.S. injection molding facility to cut costs. The company reportedly plans to outsource work to custom molders in the U.S. and Mexico.

Sunbeam said it will phase out its Hattiesburg, MS, U.S. plant by the end of September, about 8 years after the company opened the facility. The company has apparently not yet decided whether to sell the plant or to auction the equipment and facility.
