The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) announced Adam Falkoff and Rebecca Ellis as new additions to its technology policy department. Mr. Falkoff has been named senior director of Legislative Affairs. He will represent CEA before the Executive Branch, the Congress, and the FCC on issues such as spectrum allocation, digital rights management, HDTV compliance, and fair use. Ms. Ellis, director of Environmental and Legal Affairs for CEA, will represent the association at the state, national, and international levels on environmental issues, including electronics recycling and energy use.
CEA also announced the promotion of Douglas Johnson to senior director, Technology Policy. Mr. Johnson is responsible for public policy issues at the state and national levels that affect product development, operations, sales, and marketing in the consumer electronics industry.
