Five Japanese Companies to Partner on PC Recycling System Aug 4, 2003 |

Mitsubishi Electric Corp. said one of its subsidiaries, Mitsubishi Electric Information Technology Corp., and four other companies will team up to collect and recycle used personal computers (PCs). The move comes as Japanese PC manufacturers will be required to collect and recycle unwanted home computers effective Oct. 1, 2003. (Kyodo News)
