Maytag Corporation announced that George C. Moore has been appointed executive vice president and chief financial officer for the company. Mr. Moore joins Maytag from the Danaher Corporation, where he has held several top financial positions since 1993. He succeeds Steven H. Wood, who has left the company to pursue other opportunities.
