Dacor®, a maker of high-end kitchen appliances, on Wednesday announced the expansion of its dishwasher line with the introduction of a 24-in dishwasher.

At 14 place settings, the Epicure™ 24-in dishwasher (EDW24) is the newest addition to the company’s dishwasher appliance line, which is said to include the industry's only 30-in dishwasher.

According to Dacor, the EDW24 resulted from the strong demand of the remodeling segment of its customer base for a leading-edge, high-end dishwasher. The EWD24 is said to be one of the quietest dishwashers on the market with triple insulation that ensures a quiet performance. A hidden electronic control panel, positioned on top of the door, provides streamlined integration into designer cabinetry styles, providing a desirable aesthetic appearance.

Other features include:

  • Smart Cycle operation that is said to continually monitor water clarity through an electronic brain on board
  • Exclusive HydroWash™ technology distributes water in dynamic patterns, which reportedly improves cleanability
  • Seven wash levels
  • Triple water filtration system operating 17-19 times per min
  • Adjustable racking for 14-in bottom or 10-in top rack clearance
  • Three seven-way adjustable nylon-coated tines for secure and flexible loading
  • Upper-rack side foldable shelf
  • An extra large, movable silverware basket splits in half for loading versatility
  • Two covered compartments protect small utensils from falling to the bottom of the dishwasher
  • Child lockout setting to protect youngsters from harm

Available in two models, the Epicure EDW24 coordinates with Dacor’s Epicure line of kitchen appliances, and the fully integrated IDW24 model (pictured above) accommodates a custom panel to present a seamless appearance with custom kitchen cabinetry. Installation height of both models is fully adjustable from 32-1/4 to 35-1/2 in.
