Philips Electronics announced plans to be one of the top three players in the digital television networks market in the next three years. The company’s plan reportedly involves retail sales, service, providing the latest technology, and maintaining good working relationships with pay-TV operators. The company said its "Connected Home" approach, which connects devices in the home to one another, is the key to its new strategy.
