The ETL Semko division of Intertek Testing Services announced the launch of EMC-Net.com, a web-based EMC project initiation and tracking tool that is said to save manufacturers money and time. EMC-Net.com is said to be cose efficient and can save customers up to 50 percent per testing shift over the company's traditional EMC testing services. First, the customer logs onto the site and submits a brief questionnaire on the product's specifications. Within 24 hours, a service representative determines whether the product meets the program's guidelines. The customer then receives information detailing the level of testing needed, the cost, and instructions on shipping the product to an ETL SEMKO test facility.
