Target Plans Supercenter Increase Feb 25, 2003 |

Target Corp. announced that it is scheduled to open 32 new supercenters under the SuperTarget banner during 2003. The company has 94 SuperTargets at present, so the new openings represent a slightly less than 30-percent increase. Target plans a total of 94 new stores this year, so the supercenter contingent also represents just under 30 percent of its total new store plans for the year.
