Eureka Names New Sales and Marketing Leaders

Dan Clifford, president of North American floor care appliance maker Eureka, has named Fred Geyer as the new senior vice president of Marketing for Eureka. Mr. Geyer will lead all marketing functions of the company including brand management, product management, communications and new business development.

Mr. Geyer joins Eureka along with Michael Piraino, who was named senior vice president of Sales and Trade Marketing. Mr. Piraino leads National Account Sales, National Field Sales, Commercial Sales and Trade Marketing for Eureka. Piraino came to Eureka from Whirlpool Corporation, where he built a strong track record in a variety of sales and marketing roles, most recently as General Manager National Accounts and General Manager of Trade Marketing.

In announcing these appointments Mr. Clifford said: "Geyer and Piraino bring key leadership skills to the company and they will play crucial roles in accelerating the growth agenda for Eureka. Both have extensive experience in the development and execution of consumer based branded solutions. Their success has come from understanding consumer needs and partnering with key retailers to communicate these solutions. This approach is fundamental to moving forward. I know both Geyer and Piraino will make a significant contribution to the performance of our organization."
