Elcoteq Oyj of Finland said it would reopen a mobile telephone
plant in Tallinn, Estonia, that was closed last year amid
slumping orders. The plant closed last autumn after LM Ericsson AB pulled a mobile phone production contract out of Estonia and moved it to Singapore, leading to the loss of 600 jobs. It will reopen in January and employ 300 workers. (AP)
