Dell Computer Corp. will begin selling PCs in Japanese supermarkets this month as it seeks to broaden its customer base in the world's second-largest economy. Dell racked up sales of almost U.S. $3 billion in the Asia-Pacific region in its last business year ended February, about 9 percent of total revenue. Dell, based in Austin, TX, U.S., does not disclose sales figures for Japan. (Bloomberg News) |
