Japan's domestic shipments of digital cameras in October fell 11.9 percent on a value basis from a year earlier for the first decline in 5 months despite an increase in terms of volume, reflecting fierce price competition, an industry body said. The volume of shipments rose 15.4 percent to about 550,000 units, the Camera & Imaging Products Association said in a report. (Kyodo News)
