Sharp Corp. and International Business Machines Corp (IBM) said they have tied up in creating a mobile computer system to be used by businesses. Combining IBM's server and Sharp's personal digital assistants (PDAs), the new wireless system will be based on the free, open-standard Linux operating software, the two companies said. (Kyodo News)
