Hitachi and IBM to Launch PC Recycling Nov 12, 2002 |

Hitachi Ltd. and IBM Japan Ltd. said they will jointly launch a recycling business for PCs used by companies in mid-November. The move follows the introduction in April last year of a Japanese law that requires computer makers to voluntarily collect used PCs and reuse parts in new products. (Kyodo News)
