Portable-Appliance Shipments Are Warm and Cool Oct 28, 2002 |

U.S. manufacturers’ shipments of portable food appliances were 10,320,012 units in the September 2002, according to the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM). August had registered declines after 4 months of growth. For the year to date, shipments grew 4.0 percent to U.S. $1,393,209,787 and 3.2 percent to 67,260,605 units.
Air treatment shipped $56,708,600 worth of 2,344,100 units in September.
