Some of Toshiba Corp.'s DVD players equipped with hard-disk drives (HDDs) produced by Fujitsu Ltd. may malfunction due to defective HDD parts, Toshiba officials said. Last month, Fujitsu announced a recall of 10 million hard-disk drives it made from September 2000 to September 2001. (Kyodo News)
