Intel Corp. expects to almost triple its engineering work force
in Russia, as the world's biggest chipmaker increases investment
in countries where salaries for engineers and software
programmers are less than in the U.S. The company plans to
increase its engineers in Russia to 1,000 from 350 in the next
few years, according to Intel CEO Craig Barrett.
