Siemens and Fujitsu Enter Into IT Business Relationship

Fujitsu PC Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Fujitsu Limited, today announced it has formed a new business relationship with Siemens Corporation. According to the company, the agreement allows all Siemens operating companies in North America to purchase and resell a range of Fujitsu’s products, including notebook computers, desktop PCs, workstations, Intel-based servers, and storage devices. The company reports that Siemens companies in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico can utilize Fujitsu’s products internally or resell them under the Fujitsu-Siemens brand name.

According to the two companies, the agreement reinforces a business relationship that has existed since 1999. Toshio Morohoshi, president and CEO, Fujitsu PC Corporation, said, "Fujitsu is pleased to enter into this relationship with Siemens Corporation in North America and strengthen the bond these two companies have shared for many years." According to Dana Deasy, chief information officer for Siemens, "Fujitsu IT solutions possess the quality and reliability our North American operating companies and their customers expect from Siemens' product offerings. They will be a valuable addition to our existing line of products."
