Matsushita to Revamp Brand Strategy

Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. said it will set aside 20-30 billion yen in publicity expenses to let the public know about its strategy to focus on the Panasonic brand abroad, a senior company official said. Last month, the company announced it will terminate National brand products for sale abroad to focus on its Panasonic brand by the end of March 2004. (Kyodo News)
