Bosch announced that its Axxis+ Washer a recipient of Home Magazine's 2003 Kitchen and Bath Award. The innovative washer was recognized at Home Magazine's annual awards celebration in Orlando, FL on Thursday during the 2003 Kitchen and Bath Show.
According to Bosch, the Axxis+ Washer was selected for this distinctive award "because its design so clearly responds to the demands for form and function required by today's lifestyles."
"At Bosch, we are continually striving to develop quality and convenient appliances that exceed the dynamic needs of the North American consumer," said Mr. Franz Bosshard, president and chief executive officer, BSH Home Appliances Corporation, manufacturer of Bosch appliances. "It is an honor to receive this recognition from Home Magazine, and we look forward to building upon this distinction with the introduction of our next generation of laundry products later this year."
Some of the key features on the Axxis+ Washer include:
Advanced Efficiency: The Axxis+ Washer's advanced efficiency is in part due to Logixx(TM) controls, a computer system that reportedly takes the guesswork out of doing the wash and regulates energy and water use by automatically managing drum reversing rhythms, rpm, rinses, soak time, and spin speed for every fabric selection.
Flexibility: The Axxis+ Washer also makes hand washing obsolete with the "Handwashables" setting designed to cradle even cashmere, angora and lace.
Exclusive Technology: The Axxis+ model employs Sensotronic II Plus(TM), a more sophisticated sensor package, which gauges water temperature, load size, suds level and load balance to further manage resources and optimize performance.
Real-Time Features: Two added features on Axxis+ include Real Time Finish, which displays the actual time of day the cycle ends and Real Time Delay, which allows the user to set the desired finish time and Logixx programs the machine to start.
