Today Circuit City Stores, Inc. presented its first annual Circuit City Vendor Recognition Awards. These awards go to vendors who, combined with the retail company, provide the best customer service.
According to the company, vendors were chosen for the 2002 Merchandising Excellence Award based on their commitment to growing the business relationship, supply chain performance, product profitability, and year-over-year impact on Circuit City’s revenue growth. The companies also work with Circuit City to showcase consumer electronic solutions in a hassle-free chipping experience.
The winners of the Circuit City 2002Merchandising Vendor Excellence Awards were Bose, Monster Cable, Sony Electronics—Audio/Video, and XM Satellite Radio for the audio/video category. For entertainment, the winner was Microsoft, and for the technology category, the winners were Belkin Components, Hewlett-Packard U.S. Operation, and SanDisk.
