Carrier/United Technologies to Announce New Conservation Efforts

In 1998, United Technologies Corporation (UTC), the parent company of Carrier Corporation, made the announcement that it would reduce both water and energy usage by 25 percent, as a percent of sales, by 2007. According to the company, it has already surpassed this goal.
UTC director of Environmental Programs, Ellen Quinn and Carrier vice-president of Government and International Relations, John Mandyck will announce the two companies’ plans to step up global conservation efforts during a 10:30 AM press conference on Tuesday, April 22, at Carrier’s booth, at the Earth Technologies Forum and Exhibit, in Washington, D.C.
The Earth Technologies Forum and Exhibit will be held April 22-24, 2003, at the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill, Washington, D.C.
