Zamil Participates in Measurement of Educational Quality at Technical Colleges

Zamil Air Conditioners was recently selected to participate in the measurement of the quality of the education provided by technical colleges in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by the Quality Measurement Committee of the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC).

Mr. Nasser bin Abdullah Al-Howaimel, quality agent at the Dammam College of Technology, and Mr. Stephen Brown, a British expert in educational quality from the Saudi Skills Standards in Riyadh, visited the Zamil Air Conditioners factory in Dammam Second Industrial City on Dec. 4, 2013. They met with many of the 155 recent graduates of the Dammam College of Technology who are now working as qualified Saudi technicians and who were recruited in collaboration with the college.

The technicians hold diplomas in a number of specialties, including industrial machinery operating, refrigeration and air-conditioning technology, and general mechanics and electricity.

At the end of the visit, Nasser Al-Howaimel honored the organizers of the Saudization and job localization programs on behalf of the dean of Dammam College of Technology, Mr. Ahmed A. Al-Thunayan, for their participation and cooperation in continuing to support cooperative training programs and advance the employment of the graduates of technical college programs.
