Jarden's Crock-Pot slow-cooker brand launched the Crock-Pot Hook Up Connectable Entertaining System--a scalable slow-cooking system to create spreads that can be tailored to large or small events.

The system features individual, connectable slow cooker units that plug into each other to suit the needs of any gathering. Up to six units can hook up using a single power outlet, and each individual unit can be used together or apart. Connectable units are sold individually so consumers can mix and match colors and slow cookers to create their own system.

Each unit has individual low, high, and warm manual settings. All have removable stoneware and lids that are dishwasher safe. The units are available in five colors and in different configurations, including:
* a round, 2-quart slow cooker
* an oval, 3.5-quart slow cooker
* an oval 2 x 1-Qt double slow cooker

The individual units have a suggested retail price of $39.99 - $49.99.
