Electrolux published the findings from its recent survey conducted on global vacuum cleaning habits.

The online survey garnered 28,000 respondents from 23 countries around the world. The results show significant variations in vacuuming habits between regions. One example: in South Korea almost one-third of respondents vacuum once per day; globally an average of only 13% of respondents vacuum every days.

Electrolux asked what factors are most important to users when they're shopping for a vacuum cleaner. The company also asked about vacuum usage: how long and how often consumers use their vacuums, what users listen to while vacuuming, and even what they think about as they use the vacuum.

Electrolux also asked users how they typically dress when they vacuum--and found that a small share of users vacuum in the nude.
