Sub-Zero launched a line of integrated refrigeration with 19 models in column, tall, and drawer configurations, available in five widths.
The new line will become available to consumers on a rolling basis beginning in the fall of 2013.
The new line is a part of the New Generation product launch, the largest product rollout in the company's 68-year history.
"The integrated line allows consumers to have refrigeration virtually anywhere in their homes," said Jim Bakke, president and CEO of Sub-Zero and Wolf.
Each unit contains separate, sealed cooling systems for the refrigerator and freezer, designed to provide optimum preservation conditions for each type of food. Dual refrigeration is also designed to eliminate cross-compartment flavor contamination and to reduce freezer burn.
An air purification system removes airborne elements that can cause food to spoil, including mold, bacteria, viruses, and ethylene gas.
Microprocessor control maintains temperatures within 1* of the selected setting while controlling defrost patterns and storing diagnostic information for service technicians.
A three-axis installation and six-direction door panel alignment system helps ensure a precise fit with adjacent cabinetry. Rollers on the bottom of each unit simplify installation.
The integrated appliances are designed to install flush with cabinetry and design elements allow them to either stand out or "disappear" into a kitchen's decor.
