Hon Hai/Foxconn First Half Revenue $57 Billion

Hon Hai Precision Industry Company, one of the world's largest contract manufacturers of consumer electronics, reported second quarter 2013 operating revenue of NT$895.6 billion (approx. US$29.9 billion).
The company is based in Taiwan and reports its financial results in Taiwan New Dollars.
Gross profit in the quarter was NT$51.9 billion (approx US$1.73 billion). Operating income in the quarter was NT$18.6 billion. Profit from continuing operations before tax was NT$25.5 billion. Profit was NT$16.9 billion.
In the first half of 2013, Hon Hai Precision had Operating Revenue of NT$1,704.6 billion (approx. US$56.8 billion). Gross profit was NT$97.8 billion. Operating income was NT $32.5 billion. Profit from continuing operations before tax was NT$48.1 billion. Profit was NT$33.3 billion.
Hon Hai is the Taiwanese parent company to Hon Hai/Foxconn Technology Group, one of the world's largest contract manufacturers of consumer electronics products. The company produces millions of products annually for Apple, Sony, Amazon, Toshiba, Dell, HP, and other consumer electronics companies.
The company has several factories in Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Mexico, Brazil, India, and Malaysia, and has its largest production hub in China. Its massive Longhua, Shenzhen, factory is estimated to have a quarter-million employees or more.
