Premium refrigeration and cooking appliance makers Sub-Zero and Wolf are introducing the New Generation series of products. The 60 new appliances make up the largest product rollout in the company's 70-year history.

The New Generation of Sub-Zero integrated refrigeration products include advanced preservation features and sizes, and are designed to coordinate seamlessly with new Wolf products.

In addition to dual refrigeration, the appliances' food preservation technology including air purification; water filtration; and low-temperature, high-humidity produce drawers. New Generation integrated refrigeration appliances come in five widths, from 18 inches to 36 inches, for more product combination possibilities. Redesigned installation features, such as three-axis door panels, are intended to make them easier to install.

Wolf's New Generation products offer three design styles: transitional, contemporary, and professional.

Among the new Wolf cooking appliances will be the M series line of built-in ovens, with Dual VertiCross convection intended to provide cooking precision. Additional New Generation products include redesigned gas, electric, and induction cooktops; integrated modules; microwaves; ventilation; and an all-new built-in coffee system.

"During the last several years, our company has invested resources into the research and development of products that build on what we've successfully brought to market in the past," said Jim Bakke, president and CEO of Sub-Zero and Wolf. "We didn't let the recession stop us - quite the opposite, in fact. We wanted our brands to be ready for the turnaround, and to deliver more integration and more exciting features that wow consumers and the design community alike."

"The design possibilities are massively increased with New Generation products, with flexible and well-designed trim kits that seamlessly integrate our built-in cooking products," said Michele Bedard, vice president of marketing for Sub-Zero and Wolf.

New Generation products will be available to consumers over the course of 18 months, starting in the fourth quarter of 2013.

Sub-Zero, Inc., is more than 65 years old and was the first American luxury refrigeration manufacturer. It acquired Wolf in 2000. In addition to recently opening a 440,000-square-foot refrigeration production facility in Goodyear, AZ, the company continues to open showrooms designed to give consumers an interactive, sensory experience with its products. Sub-Zero/Wolf recently opened showrooms in Dallas and Atlanta. Other showrooms are in Australia, Beijing, Brussels, Chicago, London, New York, Mexico City, and Milan.
