Kitchen Brains Opens Singapore Office

Kitchen Brains, developer of integrated, end-to-end, wireless M2M networking solutions and SaaS applications for foodservice operators, opened Kitchen Brains Pte. Ltd. in Singapore. The company named River Zhang to head the new office.

Kitchen Brains Pte. will serve as the Customer Support Center (CSC) for all business activities in the Asia Pacific region, reinforcing the existing sales team and adding SaaS sales and deployment expertise and technical support for clients and distribution partners in the region.

"We have recognized explosive growth in the region since opening our Customer Support Center in Shanghai in 2003," said Zhang, who now serves as vice president of Business Development - Asia Pacific for Kitchen Brains.

Rathna Kumar joins the inaugural team in Singapore as Director of SaaS Business Development.

"As the only supplier of closed loop process control solutions dedicated to the commercial foodservice industry having a global footprint, this new CSC in Singapore further defines one of our core value attributes: 'uniquely global'," said Kitchen Brains President George Koether.

Kitchen Brains is known for a line of innovative cooking timers and process controllers. The technology connects all components of food preparation--refrigeration, cooking, re-thermalization, baking, and holding--into a remotely manageable and accessible process.
