Wholesaler sales of HVAC/R equipment in Canada was up 3.2% in November 2012 compared to the same month in 2011, according to data from the Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating. The report said HVAC/R was down in British Columbia, unchanged in Alberta, and up in all other regions.
In the first 11 months of 2012, HVAC/R was up 7.8%.
Total November sales in all the product segments tracked by the association were down 0.2%, or CAD $1 million, compared to November 2011. For the first 11 months of 2012, total product sales were up 7.1%, or CAD $350.7 million, compared to the first 11 months of 2011, making year-to-date total sales of CAD $5,269 billion.
