Frigidaire Scores Most Effective Ad of Q3

Ace Metrix, a TV and video advertising analytics firm, named a Frigidaire "History of Innovation" ad the No. 1 video ad of third quarter 2012.

The ad promotes the Frigidaire-brand Symmetry Double Oven Range and Orbit Clean dishwasher. The ad had an Ace Score of 691, or 18 points higher than No. 2-ranked Ford. Other ads in the Top 10 came from Samsung (for computer hardware ads, not appliance ads), Apple, BMW, AT&T, Google, and Liberty Mutual.

"Consumers were really drawn to the historic portrayal of the Frigidaire products. This, coupled with the ad's message of innovation (which also worked to Ford's advantage) resulted in the Frigidaire's solid performance above all other ads," said Peter Daboll, CEO of Ace Metrix. "

It was the second consecutive quarter that showed an appliance ad at the top of the Ace Metrix quarterly Top 10 list. Samsung won the No. 1 ranking in the second quarter of 2012 for its "For Your Big Life" ad for French-door refrigerators.
