HRAI Awards Presented to Industry Leaders at 44th Annual Meeting

The Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada Chair Ron Robinson presided over the HRAI Annual Awards Luncheon held at the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront in Halifax, Nova Scotia on August 25, 2012. At the luncheon he acknowledged outstanding contributions made by the following individuals, companies, and organizations:

The Merit Award recognizes individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the development and progress of HRAI and the Canadian HVACR industry. Award recipients were:
* Rusty Jennings, Carrier Canada Ltd., Mississauga, Ontario
* Jim Thomas, Refrigerant Services Inc., Nova Scotia Canada

The Life Member Award recognizes individuals who have made a significant contribution to HRAI and the Canadian HVACR industry for more than 20 years. The recipient was Bob McKeraghan, Canco ClimateCare Heating and Air Conditioning, Newmarket, Ontario.

The President's Recognition recognizes a significant contribution to HRAI and the industry during the preceding year or years. Recipient was Robert Flipse, Gordon Latham Ltd., Vancouver, BC.

The Education Supporter award recognizes companies and individuals for their ongoing support of HRAI's educational activities. Recipients include:
