Black & Decker launched its new 20V MAX Platinum lithium hand-vacuum series.
The lithium technology is designed to give users strong suction for the duration of a battery charge as well as long battery life. The unit can hold a charge up to 18 months. Black & Decker said its digitally managed SmartCharge system eliminates memory effect.
The Platinum series features three models: BDH2000FL, BDH2000SL, and BDH2000L.
The BDH2000FL FLEX vacuum maintains strong suction two times longer than the company's Ni-Cd unit. A four-foot flexible hose accesses hard to reach areas and it wraps around the unit for neat storage and portability.
The BDH2000SL vacuum offers the versatility of a replaceable battery and an ergonomic handle. It weighs just 2.7 lb.
The BDH2000L vacuum has a rotating slim nozzle with a built-in crevice tool and flip-up brush and is made to be ideal for everyday cleanup. The company gave it a stylish design so users can display the vacuum in a living or dining room, keeping it handy for cleaning.
The three models will be available in October 2012 at suggested retail prices ranging from $99.99 to $149.99.
