HVAC/R Wholesaler Sales Up 16.0% in Canada in May Jul 10, 2012 |

According to the Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating Wholesalers' Sales Report, May 2012 HVAC/R product sales in Canada were up 16.0% from May 2011. HVAC/R product sales were up 9.7% year to date compared to the same time period in 2011.
May 2012 total product sales were up 14.1%, or CAD $64.6 million, compared to May 2011. Year to date, total product sales were up 8.7%, or CAD $170.3 million, compared to the same time period in 2011, bringing the 2012 year to date total sales to CAD $2.1 billion.
CIPH said warmer weather likely helped boost sales.
